This is the mark of a new beginning; hence, I made a new journal. I've just left high school and am beginning my new journey out into the new world. It's a strange place, as I have found in recent years, though it can only get stranger from here. I wanted to try to leave as much as my old self as I could behind and embark on what I know to be the inevitable. All of my high school stuff is contained in my other journal. It's funny, I look back at the old stuff occasionally and I laugh at how stupid I was, what I was concerned about at that time, and I remember how much fun I had then, no matter how short lived it may have been. But enough about that.

Anyway, I'll be starting at a Community College for the first semester, and then I am transfering to Michigan State University. It's a big step, I know, but I think I'll be able to handle it. It's time the world knew who I really am, and I suppose this is the first step, or rather, the second.

As for what you will find here, that remains to be seen. As time went on I wrote less and less in my other journal, and I hope the same doesn't happen here. I've made a promise to myself that I will write as often as I can. I don't know if it will be every day, but I guess we'll see what unfolds.
